About
Repetitive injuries vary among individuals, and Western medicine sometimes is insufficient in treating chronic injuries. This site aims to fill the gap–to help people take control, to prevent and treat their own repetitive stress injuries.
About the Editor
The managing editor is Amy Hengst, a freelance writer and photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area. Amy had to quit her first full-time job out of college, due to chronic arm pain and weakness. Since then, she’s done a lot of research and learned how to change her lifestyle and heal her arms and shoulders. Now, years later, she’s pain-free and works as a freelance writer, typing away most of the day at her computer workstation. This blog was created as a simple way to help others, by sharing the tips and tricks she’s learned in coping with and overcoming repetitive stress injuries. It’s not meant to replace the advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified health professional.
